Group Therapy

Couple’s Therapy – Facilitated by a licensed clinician, a client and their respected spouse or partner may engage in this form of treatment to identify and process underlying stressors and promote healthy functioning within the relationship.

Family Therapy – Facilitated by a licensed clinician, a client and their respected family members may engage in this form of treatment to identify and resolve familial conflicts through evidence based practices rendered by the clinician. Client and family members will also learn adaptive coping skills to independently and effectively manage stressors in the future.

Women’s Group – This gender specific treatment group meets once weekly for 90 minutes to help female clients identify problems within their life domains and learn an array of clinical skills and tools to become better functioning adults and members of their respected communities. Facilitated by a licensed practitioner, group members promote solidarity, confidentiality, and communication in an unbiased environment. This group is ideal for clients who have recently completed more enhanced services such as residential treatment or SAIOP, or for women who are simply seeking support!

Men’s Substance Abuse Group – This gender specific treatment group meets once weekly for 90 minutes in the evening to help male consumers overcome minor substance abuse disorders, manage negative symptoms, identify and discuss the causes of addiction in their lives, and explore what clinical tools will help the individual client achieve his treatment goals. Facilitated by a certified substance abuse counselor, group members promote a supportive, confidential, and unbiased environment for change. This group is ideal for clients who have recently completed more enhanced services such as residential treatment or SAIOP; or for men who are simply seeking support!
